A memorial park commemorating the first 150 years of the history of the United States. Established in Keystone in the state of South Dakota. Huge busts of four successive generations of Presidents, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, measuring approximately 18 meters (60 feet), are carved into the mountain face. The task of carving the likenesses was undertaken in 1941 by Gutzon Borglum and 400 laborers.
